Job Purpose
This exciting, varied role helps us to provide a full end-to-end service for our clients – from social media strategy and content creation to copywriting and execution.
The Social Media Manager will work directly with our designers to manage client content calendars, proof content, analyse data, post and schedule content, and provide top-level insights based on reporting.
The primary focus of the role is social media, and experience across social platforms is essential. This is a cross-functional and creative role for someone comfortable juggling multiple projects within a small, collaborative team.
It’s a diverse role offering the ideal candidate the chance to develop a wide range of skills across many well-known brands. Some of our clients include: Variety Jones, Visit Wicklow, Benecol, BYD Ireland, Innocent Drinks, and XPENG Ireland (among many more, listed on our website).
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
The job holder will take full ownership, be accountable for, and deliver on the following:
- Social media content planning and scheduling
- Data analytics across client platforms, advising on trends and making strategic recommendations
- Campaign analysis and reporting
- Copywriting
- Community management
- Client management and liaison
- General administrative duties, including working within our project management tool (ClickUp) to set up projects, manage timelines, and help schedule work in line with keeping content calendars up to date, liaising with designers on their workloads
- Social media research and trend spotting – being the voice introducing platform updates and new content types to the team and subsequently, our clients
- Proactive contribution to company strategy and creative thinking
Person Specification
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- A third-level qualification or equivalent in Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Strong data analytics skills with the ability to interpret insights and provide business context
- Creative and confident copywriting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Attention to detail with strict adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Proven client-facing and people management skills
- Competent in using AI, but not reliant on it. We use AI for efficiency, not as a replacement for creativity, strategy, or critical thinking
Experience
- At least 3+ years in a similar role
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Understanding of paid social campaign management
- High familiarity with all social media functionalities
- Confidence using social media management platforms like Sprout Social
